Introduce a Trapped Muslim in Sudan to

Jesus Christ

The True Source of Peace

Great Commission Media Ministries reaches millions of souls trapped in closed countries using the power of Christian media through daily satellite TV broadcasting.

This powerful technology brings the Gospel right into the living rooms of those who live in places like Sudan.

Sudan is FAR from stable.
Especially now.
The last four years alone have left the people suffering from 2 government coups.

Every day the Sudanese are forced to choose between two factions at war with each other:
Islam vs. Tribalism.
North vs. South.
Sunni vs. Shia.
Autocracy vs. Democracy.
The National Military vs. the Rapid Support Forces.

Donate today and give them a better option.

Give them a better option: the Gospel!

Through the power of media you can get the lifesaving message of God’s choice to forgive humanity for killing His Son, into the home of a Sudanese family.

Only the Gospel can set them free to choose peace in response to the violence around them, like it did for Yassir.

Yassir was born in Northern Sudan to a fanatical Muslim family. He was raised to hate two types of people: anyone from South Sudan, and all Christians. As a child he had dreams of having the chance to show his devotion to Allah by going to war and fighting them.

While in high school, he met a Christian boy named Zechariah from South Sudan. This was exactly the opportunity he had been waiting for. Yassir gathered his friends together one dark night, with the intent to kill him. They beat him to the brink of death. Zechariah survived but never came back to school, leaving Yassir proud of what he had accomplished.

A few years later Yassir’s cousin became deathly ill. Yassir sat by his hospital bed day after day, hoping that Allah would heal him. Nothing happened. After four weeks of being in a coma, two Christians came to pray in the name of Jesus for his cousin.

“Responding to hate with hate is natural,” says Yassir. “Responding to hate with peace is supernatural… and without Jesus, it can’t be done.”

“The minute they concluded their prayer and said amen, this child opened his eyes… and in that moment, Jesus Christ began to open my eyes too,” says Yassir.

Several years passed before Yassir went to Egypt for a conference where he met a Sudanese pastor. After introductions were exchanged, the pastor wept with great emotion. He told Yassir that he was Zechariah, the boy he had beaten so badly in high school. Yassir, feeling shame, was expecting full-out resentment and hatred from Zechariah and was utterly shocked when Zechariah said, “because you hated me so much, I was always praying for you”.

Yassir is a Christian today and the founder of Communio Messianica, a ministry dedicated to caring for believers with a Muslim background who have given their lives to Christ.

Reach the next Yassir in Sudan with the Gospel!

There is no problem in the world that the Gospel cannot solve. The citizens of Sudan need this message of God’s forgiveness now.

Nearly half of the Sudanese population struggle with the ability to read, so there is no better way to share that message than through media…

It also happens to be one of the most cost-effective ways too.

Each time we air a Gospel-centred program over our network of satellite partners, we see an astonishing average of 2500 people respond to our contact centres! The majority of those who respond are practicing Muslims!!

The response to the Gospel across the Arabic-speaking parts of the world is overwhelming!!!

“For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.”

Rom. 5:10-11

On average a TV program costs $2500 to produce, which means that every $1.00 that you give today will result in a Gospel conversation, “Live” between a man or a woman and one of our locally trained call centre agents.

We can’t wait! Sudan needs your help now.

In faith, we have committed to producing a special 26-episode tv-series for the people of Sudan this August. The theme of this series is “The Moment of Decision” and will address what most Sudanese feel today: the feeling of being snared in a vicious spiral of violence with no way to stop it.

How many Muslims will
you help us reach?

There is no message more important than this one for each person who calls Sudan their home.

Each $1.00 that you give today will result in a Gospel conversation with our ministry centre.
